The situation:
After starting a new development project, our client realized his need for additional capacity in the advanced quality planning to ensure the OEMs increasing quality requirements for the products and its production.
The solution:
Our consultant took over the coordination of all quality related issues of several development projects. He controlled the development gates and supervised the visits of clients, including all audits. The daily work also involved the conduct of internal audits and applying all quality management methods such as FMEA, Control Plan, DoE, R@R and SPC.
The result:
His experience from several similar projects enabled the PMC consultant to take over the methodical lead of the project within a very short time. The high standard of quality requirements in the automotive industry has fully been met and all projects could start production in time with a very high level of quality, which lead to significant savings. With our consultant the client also had a very qualified representative to deal with the OEMs quality and development experts as well as to collaborate with all internal departments and the suppliers contacts.
